Edition 2026-08-07. There are two separate agreements below. You can sign the first and decline the second.

Liability release

Release of Liability – Assumption of Risk

Participating in any dog sport naturally involves the risk of injury to you and your pet, whether you or someone else causes it. Specific risks vary from one activity to another and the risks range from minor injuries to major injuries, such as catastrophic injuries including death. In consideration of your participation in any activity(s) offered or performed at Bad Dog Sports LLC, you understand and voluntarily assume full responsibility (financial or otherwise) and liability for this risk and agree that Bad Dog Sports LLC or its affiliates, including but not limited to, their respective officers, employees, volunteers, agents, parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, property owners, host facility, licensees and assigns, sponsors, and independent contractors for any activity(s) performed or (collectively "Releasees") are hereby released from liability and will be held harmless for any and all claims, including but not limited to any activity(s) related to your participation in or attendance of dog sports or dog sport events, including the use of equipment. Furthermore, you agree that the Releasees will not be liable for any injury, including, without limitation, personal, bodily, or mental injury, economic loss or any damage to you, your spouse, guests, unborn child, or relatives resulting from the negligence of the Releasees or anyone acting on the Releasees' behalf, or anyone using the Releasees' equipment or services, whether related to dog sports or not. You understand and acknowledge that the Releasees are providing recreational services and will not be held liable for defective products and/or equipment. If there is any claim by anyone based on any injury, loss or damage described here, which involves you or your guest, you agree to (1) defend the Releasees against such claims and pay the Releasees for all expenses relating to the claim and (2) indemnify the Releasees for all liabilities to you, your spouse, guests, relatives, or anyone else, resulting from such claims.

Termination of Entry

The owner of the dog(s) may have the animal withdrawn from the competition/event at any time, for any reason, however, once the competition/event has begun, all fees are non-refundable unless a vet (for dog) or doctor (human) note is provided within 5 business days of the event.

Integration

Each of the parties acknowledges to the other that neither party has made or relied on any promise or representation, express or implied, written or oral, not contained herein to induce it to execute this Agreement.

Vaccines

I understand that in participating with my dog(s) in any of Releasees/Bad Dog Sports LLC training/pool rental/events, that Releasees/Bad Dog Sports LLC has relied upon my representation that my dog(s) are in good health and have received the necessary vaccinations (or equivalent alternatives) as agreed upon by my veterinarian.

Photo and promotional release

Photo Release

I authorize Bad Dog Sports LLC or authorized representatives to photograph and/or video my dog or me and to use these images in future books, videos, websites, promotional or educational materials, and hereby waive my claim to any compensation for such use.
